Power Workout
Power Workouts are designed for runners who are looking to take their performance to the next level and are keen to substitute pace with power to monitor their running efforts / intensity. Measuring your workouts by Power instead of Pace helps you to run at a desired intensity regardless of external factors such as route (incline/decline) and weather.
Pre-Run
Tap ''Run'' at the bottom of the screen to navigate to Run Hub. Then, select ''Workouts'' tab on the top. From there, scroll down to ''Power '' tab to set up a new Power Workout or choose an existing one in your library. Power Workouts are fully customisable, so it is up to you how you structure your workout.
Power Workouts are structured using a number of building blocks called sections. To created your workout, manually keep adding sections to your workout and choose Power Zones and distance for each section. You can use the Copy/Delete functionality to edit your workout and to speed up the building process. When you are finished designing your workout, press ''Create workout'' to save and initiate your session.
In-Run
Throughout the Power Workout, NURVV Run will display your live power value on the top of the screen, followed by green, grey and red lozenges to inform you if you are in range for your desired power zone (for that section of the run), or whether you should increase/decrease power to meet your target. Total time, as well as pace and distance are also displayed on the in-run screen. Audio tones will also be provided to indicate in range / below / above status. Audio cues will also tell you when you enter a new section, what your target power zone is for that section as well as provide information on distance covered and total time at each split.
Post-Run
Immediately after your session is completed, NURVV app will provide you with a unique post Workout Summary and a Workout Score. Your Power Workout Score is based on the overall percentage of the run you spent within your target power zone. Based on your power efforts during the workout and how close you were to your set targets, you can win medals for achieving high Workout scores. If that's the case, a pop - up will appear to notify you if and which medal you have been awarded during your workout.
Immediately after your session, The Workout Summary will be available. This screen will showcase your time spent in zone for each section of the run and identify where you met and missed your targets. To view other running metrics for your Power Workout, such as cadence, footstrike or pronation, navigate back from the Workout Summary to the Run Summary page. Your Run Summary as well as Workout Summary will also always be available via the History tab.
